Find the right command
Q I remember a tip for turning off Caps Lock by pressing a
Shift key rather than the Caps Lock key. However I’ve scoured the XP Control
Panel keyboard settings and have been unable to find this. Was this facility the
victim of an update or am I imagining this?

A Neither, Simon, but it’s very well hidden. Go to Regional and Language Options rather than Keyboard, then select the Languages tab, then click the Details button, then in the new dialogue click Key Settings, this will produce yet another dialogue and you’ll see the option at the top of the screen.
