Synch with an Internet time server to provide the right time
Q I have a sinking feeling that Excel’s NOW function is not giving me the correct time.
Is there any way to synch it with Greenwich Mean Time?

A Go to Start, Control Panel, Date and Time, Internet Time.
In the ‘Server:’ box enter uk.pool.ntp.org.
Connect to the internet and check ‘Automatically synchronize with an Internet time server’.
Click the Update Now button. OK out.
Although this is not guaranteed to be GMT, this website is the one most likely to provide accurate time in the UK.
