Low-cost broadband with no upper usage cap
This Tiscali broadband package is a low cost service with no set up fee or monthly cap.
My Internet use at home is moderate, and so far it it has been a very good service.
I have received emails from Tiscali's customer services department regularly – usually advertising and alerts to new features of the service. This shows a good level of attentiveness to customers, even if I have not actually taken up these offers.
During the trial I have only had connection problems on one evening. On this occasion, the service would not recognise my username when I attempted to access the Internet and my PC wouldn't connect to the Tiscali servers. This one period of non-service lasted 45 minutes.
Only Tiscali's £14.99 service imposes a usage cap, the rest are unlimited. Those on the cheapest service can check if they’re approaching their limit through the online account management centre.
I don't feel there is anything missing from the service, which has generally been very good. The ability to manage my account easily online is extremely useful.

Poor Service
For me this internet provider has been extreamly unreliable and i seem never to get the right connection speed. I always get an extra slow connection. For 3months after they reduced the price of their 2 meg broband to the price of 1 meg i still only got the 1 meg not the 2 meg i should have been reciving. there is a download limit for their unlimited download limit which is you cant download after 6 at night and midnight.

Tiscali poor speed
got 2mb broadband with tiscali, if you hit the fair user quota? you soon find how good it is unlimted it is not. I have the stunningly fast download speed of 34kbs and told that I can have my mac number and any contract I have can be broken , no idea what there fair usage is just got an email saying I over stepped the mark , even during the day the speeds are rarily any better and they say that there fair use applies between 6pm and 11pm everyweek night , what I want to know is when are you supposed to be able to down load if you work during the day ? or play oline games .If all I wanted the internet for was to look at web pages then I may as well use the internet at the local library as its free .
