Review: Akasa Gemini notebook cooler

One of the lightest coolers on the market

A notebook cooler may seem a bit of an extravagance, but anything to help reduce the load on the system fans will help keep down the noise from your notebook.

They also help raise the keyboard, making it more comfortable to type.

There are many coolers on the market but Akasa's Gemini cooler is one of the lightest.

Constructed from ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) plastic and weighing in at 600g, the Gemini has two 70mm cooling fans spinning at 1,200rpm - both are powered via a single USB connection and an additional USB port is provided on the cooler.
