HIS Radeon X700Pro IceQII Turbo

Another graphics card that stands out from the crowd

Another graphics card that stands out from the crowd, thanks to its huge, two-slot cooler, is the X700Pro IceQII Turbo from HIS.

The IceQII cooling system draws warm air through a plastic shroud and vents it out of the back of your PC case. Despite the large fan, the noise level is surprisingly low as passive heatsinks are fitted to memory chips on the front and rear of the card.

The Turbo part of the name comes from the fact that HIS supplies the card with a copy of its Iturbo overclocking utility. Just loading the software bumps the core clock up from the standard 425MHz to 460MHz, while the 256MB of memory gets a speed rise from 860MHz to 960MHz.

Other software bundled with the card includes Counter Strike: Condition Zero, PowerDVD 5, 3D Album, Video Studio 7SE and a bonus CD containing Dungeon Siege, Theme Manger, Keyhole and OfficeFX.
