Swift Internet Protection Pack

All-in-one internet security

At just £29.99, Swift's Internet Protection Pack seems good value for money. It includes antivirus and firewall software from F-Secure, a spyware killer, a spam filter, pop-up blocking and a privacy tool.

By far the most useful part is F-Secure's Internet Security, although this is the 2004 version. The firewall has sensible defaults and can be tweaked easily, while the antivirus offers a 12-month subscription with automatic updates, scheduled scans and on-demand checking of Windows Explorer.

Meanwhile, the Internet Shield program incorporates intrusion detection to stop hackers, and the Anonymizer privacy tool helps to keep your details secure.

The only problem is a lack of integration, with the applications scattered across three CD-Roms. The lack of printed documentation is also a pain.
