1. Send your entries to: photochallenge@computeractive.co.uk

2. Entries by email only. The competition is open to residents in the UK and Ireland.

3. Canon reserves the right to substitute the prize for a similar item of equal or higher value if the stated prize is not available. Images must be submitted in the Jpeg format and file sizes must be no bigger than 5MB at 300dpi.

4. Images that exceed this limit will not be considered. The deadline for entries is 5pm on Friday 11 May.

5. Please include your full name and address and a brief summary of where you took the picture. The editor’s decision is final and no prize alternatives can be offered. Photographs remain the property of the entrant.

6. Winners will be notified by email. Entries must be your own work, and the competition is not open to professional photographers.

7. By submitting your entry you agree to grant to VNU a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, use, edit, adapt, use, publish or otherwise reproduce and license or sublicense the storage, use, editing, adaptation, publication or reproduction of the Work in all forms and media (including but not limited to online publication on the internet), according to all rights granted to an author under the copyright and design rights laws of the UK, foreign countries and international copyright and design rights conventions. One entry per reader only.
