File Maven 95 is a dual directory file manager, similar to Windows Explorer, that allows you to quickly and easily trawl through the contents of your PC.

Unlike Windows Explorer, File Maven does not make use of icons. Instead, it lists the contents of a drive as text only. This makes it a little harder to spot a file from a folder, as twice as much text has to be read, and it can be a little disorientating when faced with a full screen of text. The file structure remains the same, just text-based.

One interesting feature is the ability to jump to a different directory with a few simple keystrokes - simply type the directory/folder name and jump straight there.

There is full, built-in ZIP support, as you're able to create and extract ZIP files. To accompany this comes the ability to split files into several smaller items, allowing you to distribute large files easily, via email or floppy disk, for example.

There is a built-in text viewer, but this appears to be able to view only plain text files (.txt) accurately. It has a lot of trouble with text files saved in any other format, and it cannot view any other media (images, etc).
