TurboBackup combines a selection of automated options, with the ability to manually select files and folders to be backed up.

Various predefined tasks are available for one-click backups, including My Photos, My Music, My Favorites, My Outlook Express contacts/messages, My Settings and My System State.

Other files and folders can easily be selected for backup and these, along with the predefined backups, can be scheduled on an hourly, daily or weekly basis. There are also options for performing backups at startup or shutdown.

Backups can be made to a local or network drive or, if required, to a CD or DVD. Choose between the TurboBackup compression format (.tbz) or Zip compression. The former has the advantage of being able to retain source drive information in backups.

Restoring backups is just as easy, involving only a few button clicks. Should security be an issue, all backups can be password protected.
