Love it or hate it, the Mac OS X animated dock has been part of the operating system for a long time and is here to stay. There have been a number of Windows-based attempts to re-create this dock, often without success.

However, RocketDock is a smoothly animated, alpha-blended application launcher that is similar to ObjectDock. RocketDock renders quickly like MobyDock, has the visual sharpness of Y'z Dock, and the stability that neither seem to possess.

It is compatible with every dock skin format available. The author asks that if you have a skin that doesn't load properly, send it to the developer, along with a screenshot of what it should look like and they’ll work hard to make sure it is integrated in a future release.
