Has anyone noticed how eBay has evolved over the last two or three years? Three years ago you could realistically expect to find a bargain on eBay. These days, if you’re a seller, you’re on to a winner. People seem to use eBay as an online shopping mall and are often prepared to spend as much, or more, than you can get elsewhere, online.

The snag is, you need to look professional. One of the worst aspects of eBay is that it favours those who have been trading for a long time, with a decent trading history and feedback. If you’re new, you can trade. However, people might be more wary and you might not receive the bids required to maximise your sales.

One way around this is to design your own professional eBay auction. There are a few tools around that enable you to do this, but there are more visually-appealing tools on the Mac, than any other platform. One of these is the fantastic iSale Another is GarageSale.

GarageSale is everything you need to design, produce, upload and manage your own eBay auctions. You can manage more than one auction, maintain the content, watch and charge your eBay winners and follow-up where necessary. Of course, as a Mac product, you can expect a fantastic interface and some of the features, such as coverflow, that were recently added to iTunes.

This ships with a 2 Mac license, which means you can use the tool on your home Mac and then on your laptop, whilst on the road.
