Love it or hate it, Norton Internet Security is tried-and-tested software that’s used by millions of users worldwide, often pre-installed on a new PC. It’s a complete suite of security software, consisting of the software-based tools you’ll require to safeguard your computer whilst you browse the Internet. These tools include an anti-virus client, anti-spyware, firewall , anti-spam and more.

This is the final and official release of the 2009 edition of Norton Internet Security. This major revision ships with a completely new architecture which, as well as using fewer system resources, will start more quickly, reduce scan time and much more. The new Silent Mode will enable definition updates and warnings to update in the background and no disrupt your work.

Note that this is a special 60-day version of the security suite.
